Registration

What's included in my registration?

Full registration (excluding single-day) gives you access to all the standard ticket inclusions, such as morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, Welcome Reception access and Exhibition Precinct access. You will also have access to any recordings from the conference before they are made public. Find out more about registration here.

Can my registration be used by multiple people?

Unfortunately, only one person may attend per registration. You cannot share your registration with others. We do, however, offer discounts for groups bookings of 3 or more. Visit our group booking guide for more information.

Do you have group discounts?

Yes - bookings of three or more people will attract a 10% discount off the registration fee when purchased in a single transaction. To find out more about booking for a group, visit our group booking guide.

Does everyone in my group booking have to be from the same organisation?

Group bookings can include people from the same or different organisations. As long as three or more people have been booked in the one transaction, the discount will apply.

Do you have concession registration?

Yes - concession registration is available to full-time students, Health Care Card holders and aged pensioners. People with lived experience of housing vulnerability who are contributing within the housing or homelessness sector as a non-employee are also eligible for concession registration. Is there a one-day concession registration?

Concession registration is only available for full conference attendance. To explore our single-day or concession registration options, click here.

Special requirements

If you have any special requirements, accessibility, and/or dietary restrictions that we may address to make your participation at our event more safe and enjoyable, please advise us when registering. If you did not include these details when registering, please email our events team at events@ahuri.edu.au as soon as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements.

How do I activate my registration?

We use a two-step registration process. Once registration is paid, you will receive an email with an activation link to complete your registration details.

How do I enter my details?

Once registration is paid, you will receive an email with an activation link to complete your registration details. This includes contact details, dietary requirements, any special requirements and whether you will be attending the Welcome Reception.

Is there a virtual registration option?

The 2025 conference is an in-person only event. If you are unable to attend, keep a look out for our session recordings, which will be made available on our YouTube channel  after the conference.

When will I receive my ticket and other details?

You will receive an email from National Housing Conference with pre-arrival information, including a link to the conference portal the week prior to the National Housing Conference. A separate email with your ticket will be emailed on Monday 13 October.

 


Networking Opportunities and Extras

What social events are included in my registration?

Registration includes access to the Welcome Reception held on Tuesday 14 October in the Exhibition Precinct at Perth Convention Centre. You will need to book in for this event when activating your registration.

There are three other social events available at additional cost: Networking Breakfasts on Wednesday and Thursday, and a Conference Dinner on Wednesday. For a full list of our available networking opportunities, visit our Networking page. Make sure to choose a ticket that includes the networking events you wish to attend when you register.

 

Is the Conference Dinner included in the registration cost?

No - the Indigenous Business Australia Conference Dinner has limited tickets available in addition to conference registration. To purchase a spot at the Conference Dinner, select the appropriate ticket option at checkout when you register.

Is the Australasian Housing Institute awards dinner part of NHC?

The AHI: Brighter Future Awards - Gala Dinner is a separate event run by the Australasian Housing Institute and is not included in the cost of National Housing Conference registration. Changes and cancellations

Can I transfer my registration?

Yes, if you are unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person. The first transfer is free and any subsequent changes will incur a $100 admin fee. Read the terms and conditions here.

What if I don't feel well on the day?

If you are unwell on the day and unable to attend the conference, you can transfer your registration to a colleague by emailing events@ahuri.edu.au. Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued after 15 September 2025.

What’s your cancellation policy?

Cancellations received in writing to events@ahuri.edu.au before Sunday 5 October 2025 will be accepted and all fees refunded, minus an administrative fee of $100. Read the terms and conditions here.

I am staying longer in Perth, what can I do?

Getting involved

Can I promote the conference online?

Yes – we encourage you to visit our Share NHC25 page where you can download images and captions to help promote the 2025 National Housing Conference through your own social channels or newsletters. 
 

Are you taking abstracts?

The Call for Speakers is now closed, and our program is in development. To find out more about who will be joining our stage, click here. Confirmed speakers will be added to our public program in the lead up to the conference.

 


Catching up on conference sessions

If I miss sessions, can I still view them?

Some of our sessions will be recorded and made available to view in the Conference Portal shortly after the conference. Please note: if you have registered for a single day, you will only be able to view recordings made on that day.

When will the session recordings be available?

Any recordings will be made available to delegates within a week after the conference. The recordings will be uploaded to the Conference Portal and will be available exclusively for delegates until end of December 2025.

How can I access the session presentations?

Where a speaker uses a presentation, they can be accessed in the Conference Portal. Please note: if you have registered for a single day, you will only be able to view presentations from that day.

Will the recordings be available to the public?

The recordings of sessions will be exclusively available to 2025 National Housing Conference delegates for three months after the conference.  After this time, they will be publicly available on our YouTube channel.
